Imposing oath or solemn engagement, fine, imprisonment, pillory, or whipping,
not set forth in indictment.

XXI. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, that all and every person or persons, who shall by force, violence, or menace unlawfully impose or tender any oath or oaths on any book or in any other manner any solemn engagement on or to any person or persons, shall on conviction thereof be fined, imprisoned, pilloried,((b)
) or whipped, according to the discretion of the judge, before whom he or they shall be so convicted; and that it shall not be necessary in any indictment for said offence to set forth the said oath or oaths or solemn engagements particularly.
