IMPOSITION OF DUTIES (No. 163) (DUTY ON WINE) ORDER, 1967.

The Government, in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 1 of the Imposition of Duties Act, 1957 (No. 7 of 1957), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Imposition of Duties (No. 163) (Duty on Wine) Order, 1967.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1967.

3. The Fourth Schedule to the Finance Act, 1966 (No. 17 of 1966), which relates to the excise duty on Irish wine, shall have effect as if for the rates of 8½d., 1s. 0d. and 2s. 0d. the gallon there were substituted rates of 1s. 5d., 2s. 0d. and 4s. 0d. the gallon respectively.
