Provisions in relation to coins often or five new pence.

10.—(1) Coins having a denomination of ten new pence or five new pence may be issued before the 15th day of February, 1971, and shall be deemed, before that date, to be coins having a denomination of a florin or a shilling, as the case may be, issued in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 1950.

(2) On and after the 15th day of February, 1971, coins having a denomination of a florin or a shilling issued under the Coinage Act, 1926 , or the Act of 1950 shall continue to be current coins and shall be deemed to be coins having a denomination of ten new pence or five new pence, as the case may be, issued under this Act.
