EXPORT PROMOTION (PROVISION OF SERVICES) ORDER, 1983.

I, FRANK CLUSKEY, Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 (1) of the Export Promotion Act, 1959 (No. 20 of 1959) (inserted by the Export Promotion (Amendment) Act, 1983 (No. 4 of 1983)), hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Export Promotion (Provision of Services) Order, 1983, and shall come into operation on the 23rd day of June, 1983.

2. The following service activities are hereby specified for the purpose of section 4 (1) of the Export Promotion Act, 1959 (No. 20 of 1959) (inserted by the Export Promotion (Amendment) Act, 1983 (No. 4 of 1983) ):—

( a ) agricultural development and processing services;

( b ) construction-related services;

( c ) medical services;

( d ) training services covering all activities;

( e ) technical and general consulting services, including commercial laboratory services and research and development services;

( f ) international financial services;

( g ) computer software and data processing services;

( h ) public administration services;

( i ) media recording and publishing services.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order specifies, in Paragraph 2, those service activities which Córas Tráchtála may promote, assist and develop for export purposes.
