LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1991 COMMENCEMENT (NO. 2) ORDER, 1991.

The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 (10) of the Local Government Act, 1991 (No. 11 of 1991), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act, 1991 , (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 1991.

2. On the 7th day of June, 1991, sections 1 (9), 41, 42, 44, 45, 46, 48, 49, 53, 54 (other than paragraph (a) of that section) and 55 (3) of the Local Government Act, 1991 shall come into operation.

3. On the 7th day of June, 1991 section 4 (1) of and the Schedule to the Local Government Act, 1991 shall come into operation to the extent specified in the Schedule to this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
