S.I. No. 26/2009 - Commission To Inquire Into Child Abuse Act 2000 (Section 5) (Specified Period) Order 2009

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 6th February, 2009.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 5 (5)(b) of the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse Act 2000 (No. 7 of 2000) and after consultation with the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse Act 2000 (Section 5) (Specified Period) Order 2009.

2. The specified period for the purposes of section 5 (5)(b) of the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse Act 2000 (No. 7 of 2000) is hereby extended to the 31st day of May, 2009.
