Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 14th February, 2014.

I, ALAN SHATTER, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Criminal Justice Act 2013 (No. 19 of 2013), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 2013 (Sections 15 and 16) (Commencement) Order 2014.

2. The 3rd day of March 2014 is appointed as the day on which sections 15 and 16 of the Criminal Justice Act 2013 (No. 19 of 2013) shall come into operation.
