I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in the exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 126B(1) (as inserted by section 61 of the Local Government Reform Act 2014 (No. 1 of 2014)) of the Local Government Act 2001 (No. 37 of 2001), hereby order as follows:-

Citation.

1. This Order may be cited as the National Oversight and Audit Commission (Establishment) Order 2014.

Establishment.

2. The National Oversight and Audit Commission, for the purposes of Part 12A of the Local Government Act 2001 , is hereby established.

This order establishes on 1 July 2014 the National Oversight and Audit Commission for the purposes of Section 126B(1) (as inserted by section 61 of the Local Government Reform Act 2014 (No. 1 of 2014)) of the Local Government Act 2001 to perform the functions assigned to it by Part 12A of that Act.
