S.I. No. 354/2014 - Radiological Protection (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (Commencement) Order 2014.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st August, 2014.

The Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 (3) of the Radiological Protection (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 20 of 2014), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Radiological Protection (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (Commencement) Order 2014.

2. In this Order, “Act of 2014” means the Radiological Protection (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 20 of 2014).

3. (1) The 30th day of July 2014 is appointed as the day on which Parts 1 (other than section 3), 2 (other than section 13), 4 and 5 of, and the Schedule to, the Act of 2014 come into operation.

(2) The 1st day of August 2014 is appointed as the day on which sections 3 and 13 and Part 3 of the Act of 2014 come into operation.
