S.I. No. 84/2015 - Water Services Act 2013 (Prescribed Persons) Order 2015.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 13th March, 2015.

I, ALAN KELLY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 (5) of the Water Services Act 2013 (No. 6 of 2013), hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Water Services Act 2013 (Prescribed Persons) Order 2015.

2. In this Order—

“the Act” means “the Water Services Act 2013 ”

“An Approved Housing Body” means “a body approved under Section 6 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1992 ”.

3. The following shall be a relevant person for the purposes of section 26 (5) of the Act—

(a)“An Post”

(b)“An Approved Housing Body”.

This statutory Instrument gives effect to the decision of the Minister of the Environment, Community and Local Government to prescribe An Post and Approved Housing Bodies as relevant persons for the purposes of section 26 of the Water Services Act 2013 .
