Amendment of section 32 of Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Act 2014

5. Section 32 of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Act 2014 is amended by the insertion of the following subsection after subsection (4):

“(5) Arising out of the operation of section 20A of the Employment Equality Act 1998 as read with regulations made thereunder, the Minister may request the Commission to consider exercising its powers under this section in relation to a particular undertaking, group of undertakings or the undertakings making up a particular industry or sector thereof and the Commission shall comply with such request.”.
