S.I. No. 524/2022 - Greyhound Racing Act 2019 (Commencement) Order 2022

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 21st October, 2022.

I, CHARLIE MCCONALOGUE, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (5) of the Greyhound Racing Act 2019 (No. 15 of 2019), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Greyhound Racing Act 2019 (Commencement) Order 2022.

2. The 20th day of October 2022 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Greyhound Racing Act 2019 (No. 15 of 2019) come into operation:

(a) section 7;

(b) sections 27 to 29;

(c) Part 7;

(d) Part 8, other than section 51.
