S.I. No. 330/2025 - Friendly Societies (Forms) Regulations 2025

I, NIAMH SMYTH, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 98 (1) of the Friendly Societies Act 1896 ((59 & 60 Vict.) c. 25) (as adapted by the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 172 of 2025 )) and the Enterprise, Tourism and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 241 of 2025 ), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Friendly Societies (Forms) Regulations 2025.

2. In these Regulations, “Regulations of 2018” means the Friendly Societies (Forms) Regulations 2018 ( S.I. No. 362 of 2018 ).

3. Regulation 42 of the Regulations of 2018 is amended by the deletion of “, and by the further sum requisite for publication of such cancelling in the Iris Oifigiúil”.

4. Regulation 50 of the Regulations of 2018 is amended by the deletion of “and by the further sum requisite for the like publication in the Iris Oifigiúil”.

5. The form (Form AI) set out in Part 1 of the Schedule is substituted for the form (Form AI) annexed to the Regulations of 2018.

6. The form (Form AO) set out in Part 2 of the Schedule is substituted for the form (Form AO) annexed to the Regulations of 2018.

7. The form (Form AOb) set out in Part 3 of the Schedule is substituted for the form (Form AOb) annexed to the Regulations of 2018.

8. The form (Form AT) set out in Part 4 of the Schedule is substituted for the form (Form AT) annexed to the Regulations of 2018.

9. The form (Form J) set out in Part 5 of the Schedule is substituted for the form (Form J) annexed to the Regulations of 2018.
