S.I. No. 422/2025 - Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 (Commencement) (Amendment) Order 2025

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 12th September, 2025.

I, JENNIFER CARROLL MACNEILL, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsections (2) and (3) of section 1 of the Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 (No. 24 of 2018), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 (Commencement) (Amendment) Order 2025.

2. The Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 (Commencement) Order 2023 ( S.I. No. 248 of 2023 ) is amended by the substitution of the following Article for Article 2:

“2. Section 12 (insofar as it is not already in operation) of the Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 (No. 24 of 2018) shall come into operation 3 years after the date on which this Order is made.”.
