S.I. No. 488/2025 - Mother and Baby Institutions Payment Scheme Act 2023 (section 49(4)) Regulations 2025

I, NORMA FOLEY, Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 49 (4) of the Mother and Baby Institutions Payment Scheme Act 2023 (No. 20 of 2023) (as adapted by the Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 180 of 2025 ), and with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation (as adapted by the Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 243 of 2025 )), and being satisfied, in respect of each year to be substituted by Regulation 2 of the following regulations as the concluding year in respect of the relevant institution concerned, of the matters specified in the said section 49(4) in respect of that relevant institution, hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Mother and Baby Institutions Payment Scheme Act 2023 (section 49(4)) Regulations 2025.

2. Column 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Mother and Baby Institutions Payment Scheme Act 2023 (No. 20 of 2023) is amended -

(a) at reference number 1, by the substitution of “1971” for “1963”,

(b) at reference number 3, by the substitution of “1965” for “1958”,

(c) at reference number 5, by the substitution of “1968” for “1960”,

(d) at reference number 10, by the substitution of “1974” for “1963”,

(e) at reference number 14, by the substitution of “1964” for “1951”,

(f) at reference number 15, by the substitution of “1968” for “1965”,

(g) at reference number 17, by the substitution of “1967” for “1952”,

(h) at reference number 21, by the substitution of “1960” for “1956”,

(i) at reference number 22, by the substitution of “1961” for “1957”,

(j) at reference number 24, by the substitution of “1974” for “1955”,

(k) at reference number 25, by the substitution of “1971” for “1960”,

(l) at reference number 26, by the substitution of “1972” for “1970”, and

(m) at reference number 27, by the substitution of “1957” for “1955”.

The Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations.
