The Personal Injuries Resolution Board, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 22 of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board Act 2003 (No. 46 of 2003), as amended by section 11 of the Personal Injuries Resolution Board Act 2022 (42/2022), and with the consent of the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment hereby makes the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Personal Injuries Resolution Board (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2025. | ||
2. In these Regulations: | ||
“Regulations of 2004” means the Personal Injuries Assessment Board (Fees) Regulations 2004 (S.I. 251 of 2004) as amended. | ||
3. These Regulations come into operation on 1st of December 2025. | ||
4. The Regulations of 2004 are amended in Regulation 5 (amended by Regulation 3 of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 ( S.I. 124/2022 ) by substituting “€1,200” for “€1,050”. | ||
The Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations. | ||

EXPLANATORY NOTE | ||

These Regulations set out the charge to be made by the Personal Injuries Resolution Board on respondents in respect of the processing of applications by the Board under section 11 of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board Act, 2003. They provide for an increase in the existing charge. The Regulations come into effect on 1st of December 2025. |
