S.I. No. 607/2025 - Avian Influenza (Temporary Measures) (Revocation) Regulations 2025

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 36 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013), and for the purpose of giving full effect to Regulation (EU) 2016/429 of 9 March 2016, Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/689 of 17 December 2019 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/687 of 17 December 2019, in so far as those Regulations apply to Avian Influenza, make the following regulations: | ||
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Avian Influenza (Temporary Measures) (Revocation) Regulations 2025. | ||
(2) These Regulations come into operation on 14th December 2025. | ||
2. The following Regulations are revoked: | ||
(a) the Avian Influenza (Temporary Measures) Regulations 2025 ( S.I. No. 533 of 2025 ), and | ||
(b) the Avian Influenza (Temporary Measures) (Amendment) Regulations 2025 ( S.I. No. 579 of 2025 ). | ||

EXPLANATORY NOTE | ||

These Regulations revoke for measures to be taken in the restriction zone established in counties Meath and Westmeath which were put in place to facilitate the control and eradication of avian influenza. |
