I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Taoiseach, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 25 (1) of the Statistics Act 1993 (No. 21 of 1993) and, for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Regulation (EC) No. 530/1999 of 9 March 19991 , as amended by Regulation (EC) No. 1882/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 September 20032 , Regulation (EC) No. 1893/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 December 20063 and Regulation (EC) No. 596/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 20094 , Regulation (EC) No. 450/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 February 20035 , as amended by Regulation (EC) No. 1893/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 December 20066 and Regulation (EC) No. 596/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 20097 and Regulation (EC) No. 453/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 20088 , hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Labour Costs Survey) (Amendment) Order 2025. | ||
2. The Statistics (Labour Costs Survey) Order 2023 ( S.I. No. 113 of 2023 ) is amended - | ||
(a) in Article 2(1) — | ||
(i) in the definition of “Regulation (EC) No. 1726/1999 of 27 July 1999”, by the substitution of “, Commission Regulation (EC) No. 973/2007 of 20 August 20079 and Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/447 of 7 March 202514 ” for “and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 973/2007 of 20 August 20079 ”, and | ||
(ii) in the definition of “Regulation (EC) No. 1893/2006 of 20 December 2006”, by the substitution of “, Regulation (EU) 2019/1243 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 201912 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/137 of 10 October 202213 ” for “and Regulation (EU) 2019/1243 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 201912 ”, | ||
(b) in Article 3 — | ||
(i) in paragraph (1), by the substitution of “section A, U, or V, of NACE Rev. 2.1” for “section A, T, or U, of NACE Rev. 2”, and | ||
(ii) by the substitution of the following paragraph for paragraph (2): | ||
“(2) A requirement on undertakings to which this Article applies to provide, once only, for the purposes of the survey information, the general nature of which is specified in paragraphs 1 to 3 of the Schedule relating to the period commencing on 1 October 2025 and ending on 31 December 2025, is hereby prescribed.”, | ||
and | ||
(c) in Article 4 — | ||
(i) in paragraph (1), by the substitution of “section A, U, or V, of NACE Rev. 2.1” for “section A, T, or U, of NACE Rev. 2”, and | ||
(ii) by the substitution of the following paragraph for paragraph (2): | ||
“(2) A requirement on undertakings to which this Article applies to provide, once only, for the purposes of the survey information, the general nature of which is specified in paragraphs 1 and 3 of the Schedule relating to the period commencing on 1 October 2025 and ending on 31 December 2025, is hereby prescribed.”. | ||
