S.I. No. 660/2025 - Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Accidents) Act 2025 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2025

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 2nd January, 2026.

I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Accidents) Act 2025 (No. 2 of 2025), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Accidents) Act 2025 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2025.

2. The 1st day of January 2026 is appointed as the day on which the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Accidents) Act 2025 (No. 2 of 2025), insofar as it is not already in operation, shall come into operation.
