24. (1) Schedule 2 to the Principal Act is amended by the insertion of the following paragraph after paragraph (a):
“(aa) the setting of a rent pursuant to a review of the rent under a tenancy by serving notice of the rent on the tenant other than in accordance with the condition specified in subsection (2) of section 22.”.
(2) The amendment of Schedule 2 to the Principal Act effected by subsection (1) shall only apply in respect of a notice referred to in section 22(2) of the Principal Act served after the date of commencement of subsection (1).
