S.I. No. 48/2026 - Appointment of Special Advisers (Minister for Education and Youth) Order 2026

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 23rd January, 2026.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Education and Youth and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 (1) of the Public Service Management Act 1997 (No. 27 of 1997), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Advisers (Minister for Education and Youth) Order 2026.

2. Paul Melia, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Education and Youth, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Minister for Education and Youth, with effect from 19 November 2025.

3. Denise Duffy, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Education and Youth, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Minister for Education and Youth, with effect from 19 November 2025.
