S.I. No. 49/2026 - Appointment of Special Adviser (Minister of State at the Department of Education and Youth) Order 2026

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 23rd January, 2026.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Education and Youth and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 (1) of the Public Service Management Act 1997 (No. 27 of 1997), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Adviser (Minister of State at the Department of Education and Youth) Order 2026.

2. Noel Byrne, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Education and Youth, is appointed as Special Adviser to Michael Moynihan, Minister of State at the Department of Education and Youth, with effect from 4 February 2025.
