S.I. No. 93/2026 - Supports for Survivors of Residential Institutional Abuse Act 2025 (Commencement) Order 2026

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 20th March, 2026.

I, HILDEGARDE NAUGHTON, Minister for Education and Youth, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsections (2) and (3) of section 1 of the Supports for Survivors of Residential Institutional Abuse Act 2025 (No. 7 of 2025), and after consultation with the Minister for Health in accordance with the said subsection (3), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Supports for Survivors of Residential Institutional Abuse Act 2025 (Commencement) Order 2026.

2. The 13th day of March 2026 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Supports for Survivors of Residential Institutional Abuse Act 2025 (No. 7 of 2025) shall come into operation:

(a) section 4;

(b) section 20.
