SAORSTÁT ÉIREANN. 15/06/1936: LOCAL CONFERENCES ORDER, 1928 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1936

WHEREAS by section 2 of the Local Government Conferences Act, 1885, the Local Government Board for Ireland was empowered from time to time to vary such regulations as might be made under the said section:

AND WHEREAS regulations were made under the said section on the 24th day of July, 1928, and are known as the Local Conferences Order, 1928:

AND WHEREAS the powers of the Local Government Board for Ireland under the said Act are now vested in the Minister for Local Government and Public Health:

NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Local Government Conferences Act, 1885, and of every other power in this behalf enabling him does hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Conferences Order, 1928, Amendment Order, 1936.

2. The expression "central conference or meeting" in the Local Conferences Order, 1928, in lieu of including as specified in article 1 of the said Order, two meetings in each year of the executive committee referred to in the said article, shall include four such meetings.
