DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.  | ||
THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1933 .  | ||
SECTION 132.  | ||
The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 132 of the Road Traffic Act, 1933 , and in exercise of every other power in this behalf enabling him, after consultation with the Minister for Justice, hereby orders as follows, that is to say :— 1. This Order may be cited as the " City of Cork Taximeter Area Order, 1939". 2. The area described in the Schedule to this Order shall be a taximeter area for the purposes of Part VIII of the Road Traffic Act, 1933 .  | ||

 SCHEDULE.  | ||
DESCRIPTION OF AREA.  | ||
The area consisting of the County Borough of Cork together with such portion of the County of Cork (including the urban district of Passage West) as lies within a circle with a radius of ten miles having its centre at the principal post office at Oliver Plunket Street in the said County Borough of Cork.  | ||
