AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A BODY TO BE CALLED AN CHOMHAIRLE LEABHARLANNA FOR THE PURPOSES OF ACCEPTING FROM THE CARNEGIE TRUST THE GIFT OF THE IRISH CENTRAL LIBRARY FOR STUDENTS, OF OPERATING A CENTRAL LIBRARY AND OF ASSISTING LOCAL AUTHORITIES TO IMPROVE THEIR LIBRARY SERVICES, AND TO PROVIDE FOR OTHER MATTERS CONNECTED WITH THE MATTERS AFORESAID. [17th December, 1947.]
