LOCAL AUTHORITIES (TRAVELLING EXPENSES OF MEMBERS) ORDER, 1947.

DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1941 .

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-section (2) of Section 80 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Travelling Expenses of Members) Order, 1947.

2. Section 80 of the Local Government Act, 1941 shall apply to a visiting committee of a district mental hospital appointed by a mental hospital authority under Section 96 of the Mental Treatment Act, 1945 .
