HEALTH AND MENTAL TREATMENT ACT, 1957 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1957.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (4) of Section 3 of the Health and Mental Treatment Act, 1957 (No. 16 of 1957), hereby orders as follows :—

(1) This Order may be cited as the Health and Mental Treatment Act, 1957 (Commencement) Order, 1957.

(2) The Health and Mental Treatment Act, 1957 shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1957.

Explanatory Note.

The effect of this Order is to bring the Health and Mental Treatment Act, 1957 , into operation on 1st September, 1957.
