Amendment of Seventh Schedule to Act of 1952. |
14.—(1) The Seventh Schedule to the Act of 1952 is hereby amended by— | |
(a) the insertion after subparagraph (j) (inserted by the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1960 ) in paragraph (II) of Rule I of the following subparagraph: | ||
“(k) in the case of a person who is not a blind person, any moneys, except so far as they exceed £52 per year, received by the person in respect of work of the kind referred to in paragraph 7 of Part I of the First Schedule to this Act under a scheme that is, in the opinion of the Minister, charitable in character and purpose.” | ||
(b) the substitution of “, (h) and (k)” for “and (h)” in clauses (i) and (ii) (inserted by the Act of 1961) of subparagraph (c) of paragraph (1) of Rule 3. | ||
(2) Subsection (1) of this section shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1962. |
