Rates of old age pensions.

2.—(1) Section 77 of the Act of 1952 is hereby amended by the substitution for the Table to subsection (2) of the following Table:

“TABLE.

Rate of Pension.

Means of Claimant or Pensioner				Rate of pension per week

Where the yearly means of the claimant or pensioner as duly calculated—

(2) Section 8 of the Old Age Pensions Act, 1924 , is hereby amended by the substitution in subsection (1) of “one hundred and thirty pounds” for “one hundred and four pounds” (inserted by the Act of 1952).

(3) Subsections (1) and (2) of this section shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1962.
