HEALTH (DISQUALIFICATION OF OFFICERS AND SERVANTS) ORDER, 1985.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Rule 8(2) of the Second Schedule of the Health Act, 1970 , (No. 1 of 1970), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Health (Disqualification of Officers and Servants) Order, 1985.

2. Rule 8 of the Second Schedule of the Health Act, 1970 shall not apply to any class of officer or servant under health boards, other than the following classes of officer:—

Chief Executive Officer

Programme Manager

Finance Officer

Personnel Officer

Planning and Evaluation Officer

Management Service Officer

Technical Services Officer.

3. The Health (Disqualification of Officers and Servants) Order, 1971 ( S.I. No. 289 of 1971 ) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to add Management Services Officer and Technical Services Officer to the list of officers of a health board excluded from being members of the health board.
