DERELICT SITES (URBAN AREAS) REGULATIONS, 1991.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 4 and 21 of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 (No. 14 of 1990), hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1 Citation.

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Derelict Sites (Urban Areas) Regulations, 1991.

(2) These Regulations, the Derelict Sites Regulations, 1990 ( S.I. No. 192 of 1990 ) and the Derelict Sites (Commencement of Derelict Sites Levy) Regulations, 1991 ( S.I. No. 286 of 1991 ) may be cited together as the Derelict Sites Regulations, 1990 and 1991.

2 Prescription of urban areas.

2. The areas in the administrative counties of Kerry, Kilkenny, Limerick and Tipperary (South Riding) indicated in Column 2 of the Schedule to these Regulations opposite the mention of the relevant administrative county in column 1 of the said Schedule are hereby prescribed to be urban areas for the purposes of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 .

SCHEDULE

Kerry	The townlands of Cahersiveen and Garranebane in the district electoral division of Caher.
	The townlands of Bawnluskaha, Cahereen East, Castleview. Chapel Quarter, Knockananlig and Moanmore in the district electoral division of Castleisland.
	The townlands of Dingle, Farran, Farranflaherty, Farrannakilla, Gortonora and Grove in the district electoral division of Dingle.
	The townland of Kenmare in the district electoral division of Kenmare.
	The townlands of Ballybunion, Doon West, Dromin, Gortnaskeha and Killehenny in the district electoral division of Killehenny.
	The townlands of Castleconway, Farrantoreen and Laharan in the district electoral division of Killorglin.
Kilkenny	The townlands of Ardra, Ballyhimmin, Castlecomer, Donaguile, Drumgoole, Glebe and Kiltown in the district electoral division of Castlecomer and the townland of Smithstown in the district electoral division of Moneenroe.
	The townlands of Brandondale, Graiguenamanagh and Newtown in the district electoral division of Graiguenamanagh.
	The townland of Inistioge in the district electoral division of Inistioge.
	The townlands of Foulkscourt and Warrenstown in the district electoral division of Johnstown.
	The townlands of Burrellspark, Cloghabrody, Dangan, Newtown, Stampspark and Thomastown in the district electoral division of Thomastown and the townland of Grenan in the district electoral division of Jerpoint Church. The townlands of Ardreagh, Mountfinn and Urlingford in the district electoral division of Urlingford.
Limerick	The townland of Kilfinnane in the district electoral division of Kilfinnane.
Tipperary (South Riding)	The townlands of Commons, Farraneshagh, Gortnalower, Kilballygorman, Monroe East and Monroe West in the district electoral division of Ardfinnan and the townlands of Ardfinnan and Spital-land in the district electoral division of Tullaghmelan.
	The townlands of Castlequarter, Crosscannon, Killenaule, Knockavadagh and Rathroe in the district electoral division of Killenaule.
	Those parts of the townlands of Barnora, Caherabbey Lower, Caherabbey Upper, Carrigeen, Farranlahassery, Kilcommon More (North), Killeigh, Killemly, Lissava and Townparks within the boundary outlined on the map annexed to these Regulations.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations prescribe areas in counties Kerry, Kilkenny, Limerick and Tipperary (South Riding) to be urban areas for the purposes of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 .
