SOCIAL WELFARE ACT, 1995 (SECTION 11) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1995.

The Minister for Social Welfare in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 11 of the Social Welfare Act, 1995 (No. 3 of 1995), hereby orders as follows:

1 Citation.

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1995 (Section 11) (Commencement) Order, 1995.

2 Commencement.

2. Section 11 of the Social Welfare Act, 1995 shall come into operation on the 19th day of April, 1995.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings section 11 of the Social Welfare Act, 1995 into operation with effect from the 19th of April, 1995.

Section 11 provides for the payment of Adoptive Benefit, subject to certain PRSI conditions, to people granted adoptive leave under the provisions of the Adoptive Leave Act.
