POWERS OF ATTORNEY ACT, 1996 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1996.

I, MERVYN TAYLOR, Minister for Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Powers of Attorney Act, 1996 (No. 12 of 1996), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Powers of Attorney Act, 1996 (Commencement) Order, 1996.

2. The Powers of Attorney Act, 1996 , shall come into force on the 1st day of August, 1996.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order brings the Powers of Attorney Act, 1996 into operation on 1 August, 1996.
