S.I. No. 186/2004 - Garda Síochána (Police Co-Operation) Act 2003 (Commencement) Order 2004

I, MICHAEL MCDOWELL, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 9 (5) of the Garda Síochána (Police Co-operation) Act 2003 (No. 19 of 2003), order as follows:

1.         This Order may be cited as the Garda Síochána (Police Co-operation) Act 2003 (Commencement) Order 2004.

2.         The 1st day of May 2004 is appointed as the day on which the Garda Síochána (Police Co-operation) Act 2003 shall come into operation.

This order fixes the date on which the Garda Síochána (Police Co-operation) Act 2003 shall come into operation.
