The Government, on the request of the Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade and Minister for Defence and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 (1) of the Public Service Management Act 1997 (No. 27 of 1997), hereby order as follows: | ||||||||||||
1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Advisers (Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade and Minister for Defence) Order 2025. | ||||||||||||
2. Each person mentioned in the Schedule, particulars of each of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of the Taoiseach, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade with effect from the date opposite mention of that person. | ||||||||||||
3. Each person mentioned in the Schedule, particulars of each of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of the Taoiseach, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence with effect from the date opposite mention of that person. | ||||||||||||
4. Matthew Lynch, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of the Taoiseach, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade with effect from 23 January 2025 to 21 February 2025. | ||||||||||||
5. Matthew Lynch, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of the Taoiseach, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence with effect from 23 January 2025 to 21 February 2025. | ||||||||||||
