I, NORMA FOLEY, Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 23 (3) of the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2024 (No. 19 of 2024) (as adapted by the Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 180 of 2025 )), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2025. | ||
2. The 1st day of January 2026 is appointed as the day on which the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2024 (No. 19 of 2024), insofar as it is not already in operation, shall come into operation. | ||
