S.I. No. 160/2026 - Health (Assisted Human Reproduction) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2026

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 17th April, 2026.

I, JENNIFER CARROLL MACNEILL, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (4) of the Health (Assisted Human Reproduction) Act 2024 (No. 18 of 2024), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Health (Assisted Human Reproduction) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2026.

2. The 20th day of April 2026 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Health (Assisted Human Reproduction) Act 2024 (No. 18 of 2024) shall come into operation:

(a) paragraph (b) of section 232;

(b) paragraph (c) of section 232;

(c) paragraph (d) of section 232.
