S.I. No. 167/2026 - Copyright and Related Rights (Amendment) Act 2026 (Commencement) Order 2026

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 24th April, 2026.

I, PETER BURKE, Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 (3) of the Copyright and Related Rights (Amendment) Act 2026 (No. 4 of 2026), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Copyright and Related Rights (Amendment) Act 2026 (Commencement) Order 2026.

2. The 29th day of April 2026 is appointed as the day on which sections 1 , 4 and 5 of the Copyright and Related Rights (Amendment) Act 2026 (No. 4 of 2026) shall come into operation.
