Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in “Iris Oifigiúil” of 30th January, 2007. | ||
I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, T.D., Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2(1) of the Investment Funds, Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2006 (No. 41 of 2006), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Investment Funds, Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2007. | ||
2. In this Order, “Act” means the Investment Funds, Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2006 (No. 41 of 2006). | ||
3. The 29th day of January 2007 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act come into operation, namely sections 11, 12, 16 to 22 and 24 to 34. | ||

This Order fixes the 29th of January 2007 as the date on which the various provisions of the Investment Funds, Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2006 specified in the Order come into operation. |
