ENVIRONMENT, HERITAGE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER 2007

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 5th October, 2007.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Environment, Heritage and Local Government (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2007.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government conferred on him by or under the enactments specified in the Schedule are delegated to Tony Killeen, Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

SCHEDULE

Section 32 of the Fire Services Act 1981 (No. 30 of 1981)

Air Pollution Act 1987 (No. 6 of 1987)

Radiological Protection Acts 1991 to 2002, other than section 6(2) of, and the First Schedule to, the Radiological Protection Act 1991 (No. 9 of 1991)

Sections 77 to 80 and 129 of the Local Government Act 2001 (No. 37 of 2001)

Sections 75, 76, and 78 to 91 of the Water Services Act 2007 (No. 30 of 2007)

Sections 16, 17, 30, 34, 92 and 95 (in so far as they relate to water services provided other than by or on behalf of water services authorities) of the Water Services Act 2007 (No. 30 of 2007)
