Definitions.

2.—In this Act—
|

| |
the expression “the Minister” means the Minister for Agriculture;
|
|
| |
the word “inspector” means any person authorised in writing (either generally or for a special purpose) by the Minister to exercise all or any of the powers or perform all or any of the duties conferred or imposed on an inspector by this Act;
|
|
| |
the expression “seed potatoes” means potatoes intended for planting;
|
|
| |
the expression “ware potatoes” means potatoes other than seed potatoes;
|
|
| |
the word “package” includes any bag, sack, box, case, barrel or other receptacle containing or capable of containing potatoes;
|
|
| |
the word “prescribed” means prescribed by regulations made under this Act.
