Definitions. |
1.—In this Act— | |
“the age limit section” means section 23 of the Local Government Act, 1941 (No. 23 of 1941), as amended by section 24 of the Local Government Act, 1955 (No. 9 of 1955); | ||
“the age limit order” means the Local Government (Officers Age Limit) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 140 of 1957 ) ; | ||
“the relevant offices” means— | ||
(a) the office of Cork City Manager and Town Clerk, | ||
(b) the office of Dublin City Manager and Town Clerk, | ||
(c) the office of Limerick City Manager and Town Clerk, | ||
(d) the office of Waterford City Manager and Town Clerk, and | ||
(e) the office of county manager for a county under the County Management Act, 1940 (No. 12 of 1940). |
